Price Paid:  $1199.00 at Downhill From Here,

Model Year:
2007

Bike Setup:
All stock.

Summary:
Great bike. I've put about 500 miles on the 2008 model and love it. I never even considered looking at Kona for a road bike, but my local shop carried the Zing. You can't find a better deal in this price range. This is a very solid ride for the money.

Strengths:
Wieght, component package, carbon fork, very smooth ride.

Weaknesses:
The seat is a little hard.

Similar Products Used:
1980s Raleigh 10-speed

sweet ride and about a grand less than other companies....trek and specialized. the mix of 105 and ultegra is smooth and fast. the carbon fork is great. a great bang for your buck if your getting into cycle for the first time or again.

Strengths:
component group, carbon fork

Weaknesses:
the Selle seat that came with my bike is as hard as a rock

Price Paid:  $800.00 at Cutting Edge Berlin

Model Year:
2006

Favorite Ride:
New York 5 Bbt

Summary:
Bought as a left over.. Great bike and handles as good if not better than the new Trek 5.0 Pilot (I tried them both). The price is great and the components are the the same as most bikes that are twice the price. The weight is about 2 or 3lbs more than a high end carbon fiber frame bike. Does it matter for and Recreational Rider?

Strengths:
Carbon forks- Shimano Drivetrain - Aluminum Frame

Weaknesses:
Not alot of people know the Kona name for Street bikes.

Similar Products Used:
I also own a 2007Kona Dew deluxe and a 2004 Jamis Coda Supreme

Model Year:
2006

Summary:
Haven't rode it much, but from what i can tell this is an awesome bike! It comes with a great wheelset and is very light in my opinion. With the saddle and pedals on,mine only weighs in at 20lbs. This is my first road bike and it is taking some getting used to,but i like it so far.

Strengths:
Very ligh and a very nice paint job. Nice quality components.

Weaknesses:
none yet
