at World Cycle, Boise, Model Year: 2005 Favorite Ride: 2005 Lemond Reno WSD Bike Setup: Changed to the following: 105 STI Shifters, 105 pedals, R-550 (105 equivalent) Wheelset, Armadillo tires (great for training), Specialized Dolce Women's saddle- the best $30 investment, ever! Summary: This was just what I wanted- an inexpensive introduction to road bike riding. The Reno is no high end bicycle, but it gets the job done and looks beautiful while doing it. My Reno carried me through a few road races and some century rides with comfort and style. While I am upgrading to a better racing bike for the '06 season, I am definitely keeping my Reno for travel and winter weather training. I highly recommend it to recreational or beginner riders looking for an affordable road ride. Strengths: Price, Aesthetics, Versatile Capabilities, Survives Crashes Well! Weaknesses: Tiagra shifter levers were stiff and annoying. I upgraded to 105 levers which was a noticeable step up. Similar Products Used: Specialized Dolce Elite
