Price Paid:  $500.00 at ebay

Model Year:
2005

Favorite Ride:
Saturday Morning Group Ride

Bike Setup:
Dura Ace 10 Sp. Shifters, Rear DR, and Brakes. Ultegra FD, Shimano Compact Crank set (50/43), Thomson Elite oversize seat post, Specialized BG Alias Saddle, Neuvation Wheel Set.

Summary:
Got this frame off ebay and bulit it up with a mix of Dura Ace and Ultegra with a compact crankset for climbing in the Mtns here in NC. The compact frame feels very differnt than my Madone and it took a little longer for me to dial in the perfect saddle height. The seat post is oversized but Thomson makes a nice post that fits the bill nicely. Might be tough to find a carbon seat post is this size though. Handles well decending, very stiff for climbing or sprinting, and surprisingly comfortable for an aluminum frame. The frame and carbon fork/seatstays look very sharp. Paint seems robust (better than TREK!) and the frame is very light.

Strengths:
Solid frame for all around biking. Feels stiff while climbing and the ride is comfortable as the miles climb into the double digits.

Weaknesses:
Built model from Litespeed is a little pricy for an Aluminum bike. Better to get the frame and build it up. Nonstandard seat tube size can make finding a seat post somewhat more involved.

Similar Products Used:
Trek, Lemond, Fuji, and Giant aluminm frames.
