Product Description

Ride fast without contorting your body into pro-rider positions with the LOOK Cycle 566 Ultegra Bike. The 566 features LOOK's slightly relaxed geometry to maintain excellent power transfer without completely destroying your lumbar spine. The compact-ringed Ultegra crankset combined with the 12-25 cassette make the 566 ideal for mountainous areas, or for riders who live for the climb, even if it's a couple hundred miles away.

Strengths:    Good looks, very reasonable ride (no bike comfortable after 100km)

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
Bought as a frame in 2009 and built it up with 105/Ultegra components. Been riding this bike for three years at about 5500 kilometers per year. Paid about $2,000 for this mid level full carbon frame. Very pleased and have no intension of changing it out.

Strengths:    Great frame geometry, fantastic components, good price

Weaknesses:    Wheelset is basic/functional.

Bottom Line:
This is my first full carbon frameset, and the bike is great. After getting dialed in ad fit, (Thanks Chris and Peter at Handlebars Cycle Co.) this bike handles great. The Ultegra gruppo performs flawlessly and has great responsiveness. The Fulcrum Racing 7 wheelset while being basic, is very lively. The eye candy of the bike tilts heads, and bottom line is this bike makes you want to ride more. Its as comfortable doing sprint ups as it is logging 50-60 miles in the saddle on an LSD training day. For a entry level full carbon, this bike is hard to ignore.

Thinking of Look 566 Ultegra, any opinions?

I want a good bike which won't have me wanting something better in a short period of time. I'm a fit 50 yr old, so comfort is important. Is this too much bike? Anyone have one? T ... Read More »

2008 566 vs 2013 566

I just saw a new 566 at the lbs and like the color scheme much more than my 2008 566. I tried not to look to hard because I really don't need another bike but....has there been any changes to the frame design in the last few years? It did appear to have a different fork than my bike and the head s ... Read More »

585/566 fit?

So I have it in my head I need to build a new bike and am hoping to buy a late model 585 frame. Currently I ride a 566 medium frame, 53cm, and am wondering if the fit will be different with a 585 frame. I am 5"8" but have always felt the 53cm frame was a tad on the small side for me even though by ... Read More »
