The R120 is designed for the rider who needs a bike that while high-performance oriented, provides a level of comfort, stability and lightweight. The double/triple butted tubeset makes the R120 the lightest of our Houseblend offerings. The geometry allows for a comfortable fit, excellent stability and precise handling.
Strengths: The ride quality especially over poor road surfaces.
Comfortable but light and fast.
Looks beautiful in brushed ti finish. Dont have to worry about the cosmetics deteriorating over time. No paint to scratch.
Lifetime guarantee on the frame!
Great Ti frame at midrange carbon price.
Weaknesses: Some Decals wearing,(especially the seat-tube logo) but Lynskey replacements bought for $40.
Now that I'm riding so much, I could probably cope with one of the racier Lynskeys.
Bottom Line:
I upgraded to the lynskey R120 from a basic alloy bike and immediately the differences were evident. Lighter, faster with a great smooth feel especially over rough roads. I wanted a relaxed frame as I'm not a racer and just wanted to get out regularly and enjoy my riding. Was deciding between a specialized roubaix pro (which was going to cost more) and the Lynskey, and the indestructible Ti Lynskey won hands down. The purchase has caused me to double my weekly km's. It really is a joy getting on my lynskey and the ride just keeps getting better.
