$0.00 Model Year: 2004 Summary: Overall, a great ride. I've upgraded to ultegra components, which has made a huge difference in performance. Continetal Lite Tires. Strengths: Solid frame, smooth ride. Great ride for the price Weaknesses: Shimano tiagra is a horrible system, you have to upgrade to appreciate the bike

Price Paid:
$650.00
at rei Model Year: 2004 Bike Setup: Lets see managed to add cyclecomputer and clipless pedals, more to come. Summary: This is my first road bike and I love it. Picked it up on clearance for 650, down from 1000. The ride is smooth, thanks to the steel frame and carbon fork. Also has carbon seatstay, but thats prob more of a gimmick than anything functional. Full Shimano Tiagra component set. Solid bike for a beginner. A little bit heaver than aluminium bikes, but unless your a racer or have very little body fat who cares? BTW the '05 is aluminium. Strengths: Great ride, really nice paint job, full Tiagra component set. Made in the USA by a quality company. Weaknesses: This is just an entry level bike, but a great way into the sport. If you dont plan on doing any racing or serious mileage this bike could keep you satisfied for many years. I wouldnt pay the retail price on this bike, but for 650 its a bargain. Usually bikes are about 750 or so when you get totally out of the sora stuff. The verdict is still out on the Stelle Italia xo saddle, and once again the bike is slightly heavier than its competitors - but almost weightless compared to my MTB. Similar Products Used: Trek MTBs
