Ritchey WCS Carbon bars and stem Summary: This bike is a great value for a very competent, light, very stiff all-carbon climber. I purchased this (at a TREMENDOUS value) from a team racer who was a pure climber, and it is a very good climbing bike. It's not as smooth a ride as my Tarmac E5, but it's far and away a better climber. Especially when I put the Ksyrium SL tubulars on it. WOW that was a smooth and steady climb.
I should also mention that I'm a big boy (6'1" and 195 lbs) and put lots of torque in a bike, and this one is capable of taking it. Strengths: Well, I guess you can tell - climbing. Descends pretty damned quickly too. And a good value. Weaknesses: A little stiff for the long hauls. Similar Products Used: Nothing similar, i.e. all carbon.
My RR bike is a Specialized Tarmac E-5 (alum/carbon), TT's is a Cervelo P3 aluminum, and for crits it's a custom Rock Lobster aluminum.
