Strengths:    Stiffness, Handling, Price, Comfort (relative to other alloy/carbon offerings).

Weaknesses:    Not designed for the recreational cyclist, this is designed to race.

Bottom Line:
This review is for the latest and final generation of the Opera Bernini. This frame is made from the same jig as the 2004 Prince SL,(Opera is owned by Pinarello) and is identical except for the tubing used-7005 rather then the alloy on the Prince.

This bike rides like a dream-extremely stiff and handles like a race pedigree bike, I have no problems throwing this thing through fast and technical corners or sprinting it. The carbon forks and stays are also by pinarello, using the newer Onda Forks and Stays, it significantly reduces road buzz, increasing comfort. Overall, this is a bike designed to be ridden hard, not babies once a week. It's comfortable enough compared to many offerings, but its race geometry stiffness would make it a poor purchase for someone not considering participating in fast/competitive group rides and/or races. For those purposes however, there is no better bang for your buck, and at 1200 grams, the frames is still of a reasonable weight even in todays day and age.

Overall I'd highly recommend it for the beginner/intermediate racer, looking for bang for his/her buck. If it was good enough for Vinkourov, its good enough for us mortals.
