Orbea Diva Road Bike

MSRP : $4100.00

Product Description

It seems weird that I am the first to review this bike. I guess everyone else who owns one is out riding it. I bought mine with a compact double, Ultegra SL, everything else carbon but the handlebars. This bike is incredible!! It took awhile to get over the price, but it is worth every penny. It climbs effortlessly, precise on descents, and oh, but, oh so comfortable to ride. I haven't had it long, so I will revisit in a few months. I'm going to go ride it now.....

Strengths:    Design.

Weaknesses:    Nothing yet

Bottom Line:
My previous bike was an aluminum Orbea w/ carbon fork and seat stays...I loved it. However that frame fatigued and broke over time.

I have admired the Diva for years. I purchased mine in November 2009 on shop closeout and it is an amazing bike. I haven't been out on it too much since I live in the Midwest and there snow and ice on the ground currently, but the handling and the smoothness of this bike is noticeable.

Bottom Line:
I'm 5'8 with long legs and short torso. This frame fits like a dream. It's actually a 2008. It's light, stiff and very stable in speedy descents. I stepped up big time from my old Cannondale. This is a climbing machine for me. Now the guys I ride with are scared of "getting chicked".

Strengths:    Everything, right down to the seatpost!

Weaknesses:    Price

Bottom Line:
I have been riding this bike for about 4 months. I love it! I never regret a ride, or want to miss one. I have braved weather I shouldn't just to ride. The handling is crisp and resposive. The ride is incredibly soft. I love being able to keep up with or surpass people that used to drop me!!
