Comfort of ride is excellent, components on the bike are solid, for the price the weight of the bike is good. This bike has very good balance and feel on the road, and is very responsive.
I would like the bike to be a little lighter but in cycling you pay for weight.
I purchased this bike online for about $500.00 less than I could touch a bottom of the line full carbon bike at any local bike shop, it was new in the box, when it arrived I took it over to a friends house and we put the bike together in about 30-45 minutes, it was very easy to put together. I road it the day we put it together and it performed excellent out of the box, after a couple more rides I took it into my local bike shop for a mini tune up just to fine tune the gears and add a cycling computer. I now have well over 1000 miles on this bike since the purchase and I love how it performs and looks, I have received complements on it from people riding $5000 plus bikes. If you want an excellent entry level full carbon bike I would recommend this one! When I am ready to upgrade I am definitely going to get another Orbea!!

Flex on the road when hitting the crazy potholes we have in Florida. Whoever siad potholes were caused by frost, anyway? THis is a long time family owned business, adn they are very comitted to the bike design, and are mountian people. The strength needed for climbing the hills of the Tetons, were I work in the summers, is emense, and this bike helps me to hit the hills hard, but feels like a like energ workout.
I am very long legged, and my body is not exactly in proportion, so I had to have help from my local shop in setting this bike up. For more average sized folks, should not be a problem.
The technology of this bike was not the first thing I looked at when making this key purchase (my first real high end road bike), but I have become a technophile since the purchase. Orbea is way ahead in the arena, and I can't help but appreciate the Italian design history(basic, not too curvey design is what I came to like).
The company is somewhat small, so can turn on a dime wiht new technology. Interestingly, they are also a co-op business, with the company owned by the employees. it makes for a strong comittment to the team they sponsor, and they can modify the designs based on feedback. Fast!
