Summary: I've had this bike since January, and I am really pleased. It was probably $1K less than comparably equipped competitors. I ride relatively fast and am reasonably heavy (190 lbs), and it has held up extremely well. This bike is excellent for someone wishing to experiment with a road bike, but does not want to pay full freight for the experiment.
Strengths: Great value & lightweight frame and excellent components for the price. Good durability after almost one year.
Weaknesses: I agree that the wheels are the weakest link. They're not bad, but don't measure up to the other components.

Summary: This bike repesents great value. You can usually pick it up on sale from performance and you have yourself a great winter bike or as your main bike.
Strengths: Cheap, light and so far held up very well
Weaknesses: Wheels. I switched to Mavic's and the adjustability of the seat angle. No micro adjustments

Summary: A screaming value. I caught the year-end closeout combined with anniversary sale and rode away with an Ultegra laiden all carbon machine. The fact that this bike weighs 5 lbs. less than my previous Columbus SL framed bike makes it worth the price of admission. When I step on the gas the bike jumps out from under me. This bike takes a little more concentration to keep it tracking straight when I sit up "Look Ma, no hands!" But that doesn't mean anything's wrong. It just means that my old bike was so much more front-end heavy that it kept itself going straight. Case in point: old bike: 32 spokes front, 32 spokes rear. New Bike 16 spokes front, 20 spokes rear. The only things I replaced were the seat and the brakes. I got used to my old Selle San Marco Rolls saddle so I upgraded to a Titanium railed version. I am also spoiled by the sure stopping feel of Shimano brakes. So I dumped the squishy feeling Tektro's for Ultegra's. Other than that this bad boy is dialed in. Oh, I also got some very inexpensive Jagwire cable housings to keep the cables from slapping against the head tube. And last but not least, the bike looks great with it's carbon weave all beautifully exposed. If I'm ridin' carbon, I want the world to know it, baby!
Strengths: Beautiful finish on carbon frame and fork. Ultegra drive train. Sub 18 lbs. at affordable price. Great Shimano 561 rims. No shimmy on high speed downhills.
Weaknesses: Tektro brakes okay but I prefer stopping, not just slowing down. Had to change seat because I was used to legendary San Marco Rolls.
