Strengths:    Tough tires.
Good range of gears for climbing hills or keeping up with road bikes.
Dual position brakes so you can change position on long rides.
Has 2 places to screw holder for water bottle or pump on frame.
Good value.

Weaknesses:    I removed straps on pedals - unnecessary.
Lacks lugs to attach rear carrier (an amazing oversight for a touring bike) - you can attach a rack to the seat stem - but the screw sticks into your leg so you need to find a shorter screw!
Silly L-shaped one-piece handlebar attachment that cannot be raised or lowered without a new part (at least I think I'm right here).
No ladies frame with lower cross-bar.
The handlebar tape was soft which feels nice, but not very durable and was replaced under its free service program by Performance Bicycle - a nice touch.
Chain may come off if at both ends of the gear range if you don't have the right combination of gear wheels engaged - i.e. don't have the smallest wheel engaged on the rear wheel when moving to the largest front gear wheel and don't have the largest rear gear wheel engaged when moving to the smallest wheel at the front.
Not a particularly light bike for its capabilities.

Bottom Line:
Offers good value for charity rides as it is really a touring bike.

My bike is bright green.

Bike Setup:   I swapped saddle to get one with a slit in - but the saddle that comes with it is not bad if you like long thin saddles.

I swapped pedals with those on another bike and cut the straps off them.
