Favorite Ride: Lake Grapevine Across the dam and back
Bike Setup: Bone stock other than new pedals and a Bontrager Inform RL saddle
Summary: First off, I bought a 2008 model. It was the last one left in the shop and it was my size. I got it just as some 2010 model started to emerge so it was way out of date in the bike world. First off, the ride quality is great. The carbon fork is a huge advantage over my old bikes' cro-mo fork. And this is an extremely stiff bike so it can be thrown around corners, rocketed up climbs, and graces down descents.
Strengths: -Stiff frame
-nice paint job
-no need to replace anything when you buy it(even the stock saddle)
-105 Components are quick and precise
-racy enough for a crit, plush enough for the sunday morning club ride
-solid bike overall
Weaknesses: -First thing to go will definately be the wheels, theyre so flexy my computer sensor cant read the magnet because the spoke are bending so much
-Other than that none

Bike Setup: Compact double, 105 FD/RD/Brifters, Scott brakes and hubs. Replaced Scott saddle with Terry Cite Y.
Summary: I have about 50 miles on it so far. Front derailleur needed minor adjusting, but that is more of an LBS assembly issue. Bike rides well overall. Stiff and light. Unique styling and a mostly 105 group for less than 1100.
Strengths: Feels lighter than 19+ pounds. Stiff frame feels fast and climbs well.
Weaknesses: Seat is designed for lighter racers and is a bit unforgiving for a recreational clydesdale like myself.

Favorite Ride: Connecticut River Routes between VT and NH
Bike Setup: Replaced the bars with Ritchey's, shorter stem with some extra lift, Replaced rear cassette with a SRAM 11/28 (hilly here)
Summary: Actually a 2008! This is my first roadie in 25 years (MTB and hybrid before this). I love it! I purchased it through an e-bay sale as a left-over from '08, and got a good deal (I thought). Unfortunately the seller didn't know what he had (it was a compact double, not a triple, and didn't have a carbon seat post). Overall, a very comfortable re-entry into road biking. I just did my annual half century this weekend and the bike performed beautifully. It is a nice ride, and fits me well (a 58cm for my 6'3" 250 lb. frame).
Strengths: Frame geometry and construction. Light weight, Shimano 105 components, factory seat is actually not too bad for me.
Weaknesses: I'm not so sure about the wheels, and I'll likely upgrade the brakes (stop fine, but noisy as hell). I would go for the triple if you live in a hilly area like I do. The factory bars totally suck...felt like my hands were going to slide right off the ends when I was in the drops.

Summary: As a commuter, bred on 26" wheel urban and mtbs, this bike is a revelation. I love the stiff frame, narrow tires and high gearing. I ride 25miles daily, 5 days a week across London and this bike glides. Even the occasional century ride is a pleasure.
I bought the flat bar version to give myself a fighting chance against the traffic and coupled with some bar ends, it’s the dog's b0llocks!
Strengths: Great frame and good components. Fits my ride position perfectly.
Weaknesses: Wheels are dog-doo, replaced the with an Easton wheelset within 6 weeks. Brakes are a little soft too.

Summary: 2009 model year. After months of research and rides I came across this bike on sale at REI. It had 105 components and Scotts CR geometry that I knew had a good rep. I was deciding between carbon and aluminum and the price of this set up was enough to push me to the alumnium. I am not sorry. The bike is very plush compared to other alum fram bikes and very repsonsive. yes carbon is lighter (a little) and more expensive. I did not want to spend much over a grand and mission was accomplished. Ive got over 100 miles on it and I am very happy with it. Fast, climbs well and surprising comfortable. I am 5'9 185lb and primarily a mountain biker. I needed a real road bike and not a fixie to clock in more road miles for endurance training. I am very happy with this bike: components, price, value, quality and brand recognition. Buy the best you can afford, thats what I say. Enjoy.
Strengths: Components 105, aluminum frame geom and tech. Value
Weaknesses: Wheel set could be better quality. If bought at a big box, no help in fitting. I ended up having to buy a new stem to dial in the bike.
