Strengths: I found the bike to be very durable and lightweight. I've owned the bike for 3 years and have never had a problem like I've read from other reviews. I road it the first week I owned it on the Cabot Trail. with no problems.Weaknesses: Squeaks a bit when wet.Bottom Line: Good bike for the cost. I ride all 3 seasons with no problems.

Strengths: Looks very pretty - triumph of style over content.Weaknesses: Poor manufacturer and very cheap parts.Bottom Line: This bike was pretty awful from the start. I took the bike home and went out for a quick 10 mile ride. Chain fell off three time! Went back to the bike shop the following day and each time the said they had fixed it I tested it again and the chain kept falling off. After two hours in the shop I got them to organise a replacement.
Once I got the replacement the bike was back and fourth to shops as the chain kept falling off when changing gears. It probably took about four months to sort out with Evans and Scott arguing over whose fault it was.
Cheap, cheap, cheap components!!! I have probably spent over £300 on upgrades as the parts were so bad. New wheels because of broken spokes, new tyres as constant punctures (3 - 4 per week), new saddle.
Just got some great advice from a different shop - ride it into the ground and get a new bike!

Strengths: Decent light frame.Weaknesses: Poor quality components. (Lowest of the low)
Poor manufacture and dealer support for warranty. Scott USA has to be one of the worst bike company's to deal with out there.Bottom Line: Not a great bike overall. Thought I used this bike around the city and to the train station but started to experience problems round 200 mile with the rear hub failing. Chain and Cassette worn at 1000 miles.
I would look into more established brands that has strong LBS support such as Giant, Specialized, Trek or Bianchi. It is definitely worth it when it comes to post service sales.

Strengths: rigid, fairly light weight, flatbar makes the riding geometry not as aggressive as true roadies. freeride pedals makes it easy to jump on and off the bike.Weaknesses: crappy rock bottom shimano drivetrain, insensitive brakes. on the uphill the chain actually came off the front sprocket once. very hard and uncomfortable grips.Bottom Line: if you are using it as a commuter, it will do its job and you will be extremely pleased. since it's an entry level speedster, it's quite heavy as a roadie, but as a commuter, it's not bad at all.
