Bike Setup: Ouzo Pro, Chris King HS, full Dura Ace 10spd, FSA carbon cranks, Thompson seatpost, Deda Magic bars, handbuilt wheels are DT Swiss RR 1.1 hoops on D/A hubs Complete bike with Keo carbon pedals weighs 18.55 lbs !
Summary: I have been waiting patiently until I got a lot of miles on this frame to post a review. I Love this bike - the ride quality is superb, and the true racing pegigree of Serotta is evident. I went with custom fit on this and got exactly what I was looking for, a fast agile road bike that could corner as well as climb, and still have good all day comfort for fast centuries. Also - I would put this bike on the scale next to a lot of other pricier materials. My bike with pedals and bottle cages wieghs 18.5 lbs and is a 53.5 cm seat tube. Dollar for dollar the best buy in a high end steel frame as well. The custom paint is all candy apple red, including fork and seat stays with one single panel in frost white with painted onn logos in matching red. Beautiful. I have riden this thing hard - and it stands up to everything I can throw at it.
Strengths: Outstanding fit and custom design just for me. Paint is spectacular. Service was top notch at Bicycle Sport Shop. Also my custom frame with custom paint arrived a week early, the turn arounbd time on the order with custom paint was only about FIVE WEEKS ! Lightning fast.
Weaknesses: NONE.

Bike Setup: All Campy Record/Chorus.
2007 Ouzo Pro. Cool graphics.
Eurus wheelset with Specialized Roubaix tires.
Bontrager bar and stem.
Chris King headset.
Thompson Aluminum post. Fizik Arione saddle.
Summary: Coeur De Acier-Sapphire Blue
I could rave about every aspect of this outstanding bicycle. Balance, control.sweet ride, top notch finish,
distinctive craftsmanship, etc. This bike catches your attention, even at a top notch bike shop, where everything is seen and noted. It sure happened at RBM.
For those that have the impression that steel frames are outdated, and old-fashioned looking, you are mistaken. This bike has a special combination of traditional and contemporary accents, that are brought together in a really well designed way.
Mine has a 6.75 top tube slope and carbon stays.
The most important point on this review is the fact that for an experienced and steady rider, custom geometry and fit REALLY IS THE ULTIMATE. Find a fitter that you can trust, or else know for certain what your fit specifations will be......EXACTLY!! The folks at Serotta will deliver the goods. The experience and technology that they possess will exceed your expectations.
Carbon, titanium, steel, or mixed material combinations are your luxury to choose from many options. The tubes are chosen by the builders at Serotta for your needs. I do not feel that materials
are the big issue. It's design and fabrication!!
The best way that I can describe the ride quality is.....
THE BIKE MOVES IN HARMONY WITH YOUR INPUT.
Nothing fussy or twitchy.....it all comes together.
Bravo Serotta!!
Strengths: Custom fit at RBM, custom geometry, Serotta expertise to know what to build FOR YOU. Very reasonable price
for a bike at such a high level of detail. Distinctive custom appearance that everyone notices. Great combination of classical steel and 2007 contemporary
looks. Tig-welds are fine, and I do not miss my lugged Csi. This is a better bike.
Weaknesses: Many will say steel is too heavy. Nonsense. The lightweight thing is just a sales pitch. All out racer/climbers need the advantage of lightweight . Most of us are not in this category.
Level I and II Custom Paint Schemes extra charge seems high to me. I prefer single color.
The bike exceeds expectations. Great value.
Similar Products Used: 1998 Csi.
I tried out many different bikes the past 4 years.
I always drifted back to Serotta.

Summary: Great service and fit at Wheatridge. Price was worth it for the bike/componets/goodies wheel craftsmanship and service. I have been riding for 40+ years. Old, fat and slow now. Bike is very comfortable and the only work is the terrain or how fast I ride. The bike doesn't work against me. Tracks great on highspeed downhill turns. Seems to just go where I look down the road. Is just plain fun to ride and makes me smile and brings out the kid in me. Paint is beautiful and bike looks like old school for an old fart. Carbon stays and steel frame give super road feel without rattling my fillings. Bike is very light even though I'm not, but I don't feel like I'll break it. Very pleased with Serotta. Wheels fit smoothly in to drop outs.
Strengths: Frame construction, alignment, paint. Great fork.
Weaknesses: none that I see yet.

Bike Setup: 2007 Campagnolo Chorus- full group with compact cranks. Xero wheelset, Deda Magic Bar. 17.5 lbs without pedals
Summary: This is my first high-quality road bike and therefore the first bike I've ridden that actually works for me rather than agaist me. I wanted steel for the looks and the "feel". I got both with this bicycle. My impression after 400 miles or so is that I'll have this thing for a long time.
Strengths: Sprinting, climbing, riding over rough terrain.
Weaknesses: None.
