Strengths:    Fit and feel on the road is beyond perfect. Components are more than what i expected. (Complete Ultegra SL)

Weaknesses:    That i cant afford a second one at this momemt.

Bottom Line:
This is my first titanium as well as my first custom bike. Best way to describe it is "I'm in LOVE!" Before even getting on the bike the service of the bike shop and the builder was remarkable. Every detail was covered. Once i recieved the bike it was like picking up a bike i had ridden for 20 years. Everything was perfect. Average speed went up 2.5 miles on my favorite ride. Bicycle is stiff when it needs to be but plush everywhere else.

Strengths:    Ride quality, perfect fit and craftsmanship.

Weaknesses:    Functionally, the frame drop-outs are great but they are ugly where they meet the weld. They need to beautiful drop-outs like Moots or Merlin.

Bottom Line:
Riders who have never had a custom frame built for them are really missing out on all the benefits. Sure, the frame cost more than an "off the rack" bike but after riding a frame that has been custom built for your body geometry and ride characteristic specifications, you'll probably keep it much longer. My Seven Alaris fits like a glove. There are compromises in fit. The seat is centered on the rails, the stem is proportional to the size of the frame, the steerer tube has 1cm of headset spacers and the stand over is perfect. The ride quality is smooth, yet stiff in the bottom bracket. Steering is responsive, yet stable. Finally, the workmanship is beautiful.

This bike is built for club rides and long distance. At 18 pounds, it would be considered heavy for racing but I no longer do that anyway. It is a joy to ride a bike in complete comfort.

Strengths:    Build, durability, easy-century, non-flashy, smooth, loves you back.

Weaknesses:    A little heavy, but that's what makes it durable.

Bottom Line:
I ride about 100 miles a week, about half of it on California mountain roads.
With DA everything, ti alien post, carbon bars, seven carbon fork, Mavic Kys SL wheels, the ride is solid, predictable, planted, smooth. It goes where you point it. And very durable. It's now got S and S couplers... now a perfect bike that travels. I've been riding almost every day since I was 4 and now I'm 52. $1000 for frame and fork.

Strengths:    Solid, custom feel and sizing options, great quality all around, and it's a Seven and doesn't have the more common "Fred" stigma of Serotta as much as I like Serottas hahahaha.

Weaknesses:    Weight, but you can easily make it a light bike with smart component choices. Get creative with the weight of stuff you buy and you can still make a feathery light bike

Bottom Line:
Very cool bike. You make it how you want so how can you complain? unless you don't know what you want. Mine is built up to be as stiff and aggressive as it gets minus a slightly taller head tube than my Addict but not much (1 cm) I hate spacers. I would have bought an Axiom or and Elium but honestly I just came from a Scott Addict SL and I wanted a durable race bike that I didn't have to worry about. Yes, it is a tad on the heavy side for a contemporary race bike but not enough to turn me off (58cm 2.9 lbs) lets face it if weight like that scares you then you are a weakling. The cool thing though is that it doesn't feel like dead weight. The bike feels so solid and planted in a turn that it inspires more confidence to let the bike just go faster on descents or in hard turns. Not to mention in a bunch sprint you can dive right in without worrying about crashing and hurting your $4,000 carbon frame and worry about hurting yourself. I personally love it and believe that there is still much to be discovered about Ti bikes. If the Seven doesn't throw you then check out the Litespeed Archon or Icon. Those are equally awesome.
