Strengths: Impecible manners. Sprints well. Deceptively fast, with excellent traction. Beautiful welds.Weaknesses: More addictive, expensive, and dangerous than heroin.Bottom Line: Custom Ti frame for stage racing. Tremendous balance and center of gravity. Confidence inspiring ride. Feels very closely coupled, but is not twtchy. Carl built exactly what I asked for, and that is a very high compliment indeed.
This is the 5th custom frame I have purchased and the second one I have liked. I vowed to not buy another custom frame in the mid 80's. I changed my mind, and this bike is every reason to buy a custom bike. Carl has the experience to make your measurements and desires really work.
The paint is powder coat, but you would never know courtesy of Spectrum Powder Works. What they can do with powder coat is magic.
This frame has over 2000 miles at the time of this review.
