Description Time VX Frames feature tremendous efficiency and precise directional control while simultaneously offering exceptional comfort and is ideal for the most demanding racer as well as the cyclist seeking ...
Summary: This was my first high end bike.At 6'6 I bought the size 62 c-c which few companies offered in a stock frame. It is an excellent all round bike in every category.Especially during long rides, because it's extremely comfortable.
Strengths: The frame is very durable and climbs and descends very well. Not the lightest by today's standards, but unbeatable as a 2nd bike or trainer.
Weaknesses: I'm not a fan of the module package at all.I'm most disappointed with the stem.It is very light and strong, but the non titanium parts are corroding on both stems. Also the part that holds the derailleur cable near the chainstay came loose and had to be glued back on.It's not part of the frame like on other bikes.Disappointing!

Bike Setup: Full Record Carbon, Mavic SSC calipers, Time VXRS Carbon/Ti pedals, Campy Neutron wheels, Veloflex Tires, Arionne saddle, Deda bars, Time Stem and seatpost
Summary: This bike fits me so well. It has the slightly shorter top tube and mroe relaxed steering angle like my old favorite Colnago, but at a much better price. The new compact Time's have different geometry.
I got mine as an unbuilt show frame, so I got a good deal. Noone custom designs each fibre of each tube and shape like Time! Most everyone else uses prepeg and boy is there a HUGE ride difference.
A have a Trek 5900 with 110 OCLV and have ridden steel, aluminum and ti. Time has done great with custom designing the ride qualitites with the VX Special Pro.
It instills confidence when cornering down a wicked descent and is rock solid and stiff for the sprints. The Time stem with Deda Newton bars couldnt be more stiff. It is heavier than my Trek but climbs very smoothy and steadily. My new favorite ride is now a Time.
Strengths: Beautiful eye candy, comfortable and springy ride, geometry
Weaknesses: Time is not making this geometry any more with their semi-compact frames
Bike Setup: Campi groupo, Mavic Ksyrium wheels, Fizik Arione saddle.
Summary: Fantastic ride. Stiff, fast and super comfortable. Handles likes it's on a rail, very safe feeling in descents. Very good climber. Very nice power transfer from pedals to wheels.
Strengths: Ride quality.
Weaknesses: None so far.

Bike Setup: Campy Record group
ksyrium sl'l
Vittoria kx tires
Summary: I love this bike. I have ridden many other high end frames with the same Campy group and simular wheels. The Time is by far the best. It has more feedback than my 2003 Bianchi Carbon did yet it is smooth as silk on moderatly bumpy roads. It accelerates well and climbs well.
It is about 5oz heavier then my 2003 Orbea Starship Carbon, but performs much better because of stiffness and ride quality. Although, I would hate to part with my Orbea. So, it will become a bike for the mountains since it is a bit lighter.
Strengths: No body really has one. Pretty! Smooth, Stiff, and all around best thing I have ridden.
Weaknesses: It is a bit pricey but right now Time Sport is blowing them out of their stock for $2000.

Bike Setup: campy record, fsa carbon cranks, time stem and seat post, ksyrium sl 2004s, with a world championship airone saddle.
Summary: simply awesome, stiff and responsive, especially in the climbs, I feel like I'm going so much faster on the climbs. THe frame just soaks up all the bumps, but isn't squirrely going in the sprints or around counters. The fork is so stiff, hence the name, is so much better than my old columbus muscle fork.
Strengths: strong, comfortable and responsive. Looks great, especially when there are so few of them in North America! great how it comes with a matching stem and seatpost.
Weaknesses: expensive, but if you can get a good price...
