Tommaso's semi-compact frame geometry improves comfort, stiffness, and handling all at the same time Tommaso recognizes that we can't all be Tour de France contenders, so the TR300 is equipped with a TruVativ triple crankset and a super-light carbon fork and seatpost to get you up the most difficult climbs. Combine that with Shimano's proven and reliable 105 Series Brake Lever/Shifter combination and derailleurs and the TR300's performance is within range of the most expensive bikes.

The Shimano 105 parts were a good starter group.
Price was very attractive
Blue and white, paired with white saddle, bar grips and cables look awesome.
Cheap crankset, cheap brakes, the 105 Group isnt competitive enough, had to upgrade to Ultegra, Dura Ace components.
Cheap heavy wheelset, bought some Rolfs. Cheap heavy tires.
Sorry but Tektro brakes can't stop crap.
Good starter bike, it came with the 105 Gruppo. As I progress with my riding style and delve deeper into competing I realize I need a better bike. Make that two bikes, one for road race and the other for tris.
I wish they did include better parts such as the crankset, wheelset, saddle and brakes. All parts mentioned have been upgraded now. If I knew I was going to upgrade most of the major parts back then I would have shelled out more for a higher end version or bike.
Again, this was a good starter road bike and I still ride this bike every weekend, during races, tris and half centuries. Just pinching pennies now to get better bikes.
