Strengths: Price, great shifting for a low-price component group, and respectable wheels with an impressive warrantyWeaknesses: For 659 bucks, there's really nothing I can say that is a legitimate weakness. Maybe weight, but it's not a racing bike so who cares about a few extra pounds?Bottom Line: I've ridden some great, high end bikes over the years. I continue to be fascinated by entry level bikes for everyday riders, and how well they work (or in most cases, don't). This bike, for this price, is quite simply phenomenal. The shifting is reliable, it accelerates well, the wheels stay true (unless I do something stupid). Even more expensive entry-level rigs I've ridden over the years don't stay in adjustment as reliably as the Trek 1.1 does!
