Strengths: For the price, you get a high end bike. Well made frame, traditional geometry for "average" shaped ridersWeaknesses: none yetBottom Line: This review is for the 2008 model of the Shogun Kaze bike. All carbon fibre - full Dura-Ace groupset - Msvic Ksyrium Elite wheels - all this for under $3000 Australian!! Talk about bang for buck!! While the bike doesn't have the whizz bang features of some of the more exotic brands, this is an honest bike with standard frame geometry and kitted out with high end components. Its light (sub 8kg), feels stiff enough to apply the power, goes where it is pointed, soaks up the kms, and is good enough to hold its own in a peleton (as long as the rider is up to it). All in all, a good bike for everyday use, training, club racer or even entry level pro racing.
