Full Ultegra SL, Ksyrium ES, FSA Alloy Bars/stem, Selle Italia Flite Saddle.

Summary:
2009 (not 07' as above), Monocoq carbon frame with an integrated seat mast. This bike is extremely stiff providing excellent power transfer from a clydesdale rider. Ride is smooth but not muted like some lower end carbon frames. with a high end build this bike will come in low 14 lbs. Corners well and is very stable out of the saddle.

Strengths:
Stiff, light, Smooth Ride, Appropriate Road Feedback.

Weaknesses:
Not available at many retail locations, so there is a wait to get your bike/frame.

Summary:
I Just switched over from an Orbea Opal (a great bike), but the F1R is a cut above. It is light, stiff and quick, rock solid descending and there is absolutely no energy loss during hard sprints. In addition to being a great bike, the customer service is phenomenal. Mark (the owner), actually stopped by my house to cut the seat mast. Where else you gonna find service like that?! Being that Veloforma is a “boutique” manufacturer based in the Portland, Oregon area (frames are made it Italy), rest assured you’re not going to see another one on the road, but then if you’re into that kinda thing, stick with your Trek.

Strengths:
Light, stiff, solid, workmanship, customer service, you won't see another one like it at the coffee shop or start line.

Weaknesses:
not a single one.

There's probably a good reason you see so many Treks on the road, and there's probably a good reason why you don't see so many Veloformas on the road - but if you're into that kinda thing, stick with Veloforma...
