Summary:
This is a FUN, FUN bike. We shopped around having never rode a tandem before.
We looked at everything even some junky used stuff. When we rode the Tamburello it was love at first sight.
My wife is very trusting and dispite some anxious moments we got the hang real quick.
We LOVE the BURLEY'S. The quality of workmanship on the frame is AAA+.
The Tamburello was our best bet. The aluminum is stiff and does not flex. Some would say it is not to forgiving, and harsh, which may be true on a single. But with the wheel base being so loong we find the ride very nice.
The Geometry from a comfort standpoint is almost perfect for me 6' 175 lbs and the my wife 5'4' can't tell her weight or I won't get a new road bike!!
The angle of attack on the front fork is a dream. The handling at slow speeds is gentle and stable while at the same time fast downhills are just as precise.

I would recommend the BURLEY to anyone. This thing is just build RIGHT.

Strengths:
Cool paint job, nice finish, GREAT handling, Lots of support from the dealer

Weaknesses:
Front derailer is cheap...Tiagra...I will likely switch up to a 105 or Ultegra.
Doesn't seem to want to switch up to the big chain ring

Similar Products Used:
Test rode...Co-Motions, Santana, Trek, and Devinci
