Price Paid:  $1200.00 at Jack Johnston's

Favorite Ride:
Superdrome Frisco, TX

Bike Setup:
Stock except for a couple of different FSA chain rings (48&50) and 14 tooth cog. Bike comes stock with 49X15, too small for me.

Summary:
The 2004 bike replaces a 2003 frame that was a replacement for a friend's frame that I bent while borrowing the bike for track racing. The 2004 has some slight improvements over the 2003. Improved drop-outs, integrated head-set, slight change in top tube shaping. I ride the bike stock except for FSA chain rings ordered from Businesscycles in Miami. The bike is super stable under speed, sharp handling on 44 degree banking, no flex that I can feel. All around good race machine. Lot's of guys on the track now riding these bikes this year. No one even brought one to the track until the end of last season.

Strengths:
Stable ride, quick acceleration, aero tubing.

Weaknesses:
Not a big fan of the Miche hub with the Miche adaptor. I couldn't take the adaptor ring off so I had to order a 14 tooth to continue riding the stock Ritchie wheels. Needs 170 cranks instead of 165.

Similar Products Used:
2003 frame built up with Campy C-Record Pista with Zipp 404. Raleigh steel with Campy/Zipp set up.
