Strengths:    Alexrims AT450 wheels, and brakes much better than I expected. Very good looking overall.

Weaknesses:    Get rid of the Bontrager Race Lite tires. I was going 35m/h on descend and the front wheel became wobbly. It was not the first time and it was coming from the tire. I put old Michelin Pro Tace 2 on it and it's fine now.
And I upgraded the saddle immediately to Selle Italia SLK

Bottom Line:
My is Triton 2009, it my first single speed bike and I am really pleased. The frame (61) is a good fit for me and the ride is very smooth.Over all I just like the riding this bike so much that for a couple of weeks I did not touch my Orbea road bike. 44/18 transmission is good for where I live, lots of hills, but I would rather have 44/16.

I am starting to long for the warm sun upon my ... Read More »

From what little shows up on a Search, the Nashbar Famous Maker frame is the discontinued Ridley Triton. This may not be the latest 007 Bond movie directed by Terence Young and I'm not willingly falling into an assassination ploy involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by SPECTRE but I am having my first custom road bike built by Dmitry from Trit ...
