Strengths:    light weight and stiff.

Weaknesses:    I have the pair spoke wheel model. That is my only real complaint. Slightly flexy, but other than that a great bike.

Bottom Line:
Bike is super fun to ride. This is my first real track bike and am very happy with it.

Strengths:    Good bike for the money.
Reasonably light. 8 kgs

Weaknesses:    No cable guides for wear brake. I used two stick on guides on the top tube

Bottom Line:
Nice bike. Handles fast but not twitchy. The carbon fork really takes the edge off the bumps. I use mine on the road. The rear of the bike is really stiff. I tamed it by fitting a carbon seat post.

Is it best to have something under the wetsuit that will suit me for the bike and run? Or do a lot of folk just change in and out of gear after ... Read More »

Thule T1 rack

Am I wrong in thinking that bikes racks should be all-weather and be able to sit on the hitch or on the top of the car out in the elements for most of the year? I assume some weather testing is performed to see how they fair out in the elements. I have a T1 purchased about 5 months ago which I leave ... Read More »

Trek T1

I was thinking of building a Trek T1 fixie over the winter to keep me busy and because eliminating a lot of componentry will keep the costs reasonable. But I had a few questions... like, where can I buy parts? I know nothing about fixed gear bikes, so I have no clue how to dig up a crank, etc with ... Read More »
