Like all Aegis bicycles, this nimble jewel stands at the summit of carbon bicycle technology - offering unrivaled stiffness, durability and rider comfort.
Strengths: Would be a good bike if this problem could be resolved. Size wise it's perfect for me at 4'11".
Weaknesses: Factory Warranty not as promised.
Bottom Line:
I'm totally frustrated and disappointed with my Swift frame. The rear wheel was way out of alignemt. It pulled way right in the upper stays. Called Aegis, was told to send the frame back. The same frame came back, it was still out of alignment, though not as bad. Ran 650x20 tires and tried not to look at it. Took a lot of ribbing, about made in the USA bike vs their made in Taiwan bikes (perfect alignment). Anyway, recently I decided to try 650x23 tires and found that there was only about 2mm of clearance in the upper stays and the misalignment is even more noticeable. e-mailed Aegis several times, on response. Hoping for a happy ending.
