seat post look ergopost
Saddle full carbone
T2 profile design flat aero bars
Carbon tri bars
SHIMANO DURA ACE
WHEELSET ROLF TDF 58 Carbon
SHIMANO WH 535

Summary:
The best riode i have ever had so far, i had a felt b2 2006 before this one, i used to have a trek equinox 7 as well. This bike is very fast, smooth ride.
His best use Time trial and triathlon, but the bikes is fine for mountain rides too.
When you need to accelerate... the bike is very nervous, pretty light for a time trial bike. If you have any questions....

Strengths:
LOOK
VERY fast
Smooth ride

Similar Products Used:
FELT B2, even if there is nothing like a kestrel airfoil pro, the frame is just awesome

Price Paid:  $3699.00 at Custom build

Model Year:
2004

Favorite Ride:
Giant TCR 0

Bike Setup:
2004 Giant TCR, DA and Zero Gravity Components

Blackwell 58 wheels

Summary:
Very happy with the Giant TCR frame. These frames are very affordable, especially if you are buying them second hand. When matched winh other lightweight components you can build a tremendous climbing machine for under $3200. Even less if you spec less expensive wheels.

Strengths:
Light weight...goal of the build

Stiffer ride than expected.

Weaknesses:
Handling at speed is touchy

Lightspeed Vortex (2002)
Kestrel Evoke

Price Paid:  $3500.00 at Kestrel

Model Year:
2005

Favorite Ride:
Green Mountain / Yellow Lake

Bike Setup:
Ultegra group / SL pedals / DA post, Syntace cockpit, Cane Creek headset/brake leveres, Reynolds Alta Race wheels, Garmin 305 navigation.

Summary:
Good bike but would not buy from Kestrel or a Kestrel product. Highway 19 their Canadian distrubutor is near impossible to contact and Kestrel customer service is not competent enough to provide basic support.

Strengths:
Smooth riding, very fluid.

Weaknesses:
Kestrel goes through a customer support person about every six months and do not understand the terms "customer" or "support". Would rate bike higher if good product support (i.e. Cane Creek - these guys work for y ou).

Similar Products Used:
Cannondale, Cervelo, Colnago.

Price Paid:  $0.00 at Sigmasport

Model Year:
2005

Favorite Ride:
Richmond Park

Bike Setup:
Dura Ace 10sp, Oval 900 bars, Zipp 303 wheels.

Summary:
Aero bike, stiff and attractive frame without a seat tube. Comfortable geometry, but has same problem with steep angle bike - snakey on fast downhills but great on flats.

Strengths:
Stiff, improved internal cable routing, narrow headtube and seatstays

Weaknesses:
Uses 'brass' at the entrance of the cables which detracts from the bike, snakey on technical downhills.

Similar Products Used:
Airfoil Pro KM40, Kestrel K200SCi, Cervelo P3 Carbon.

Price Paid:  $2900.00 at local bike shop

Favorite Ride:
Kestrel Airfoil Pro

Bike Setup:
aerobars w/ barend shifters. everything else is what you see.

Summary:
This bike is sweet. I am a huge fan of Chris McCormack, and desided to try his choice of ride. (Kestrel). It is so light and responsive. I have been able to hold a faster pace per mile since i have had it. it is worth the cost.

Strengths:
the whole bike.

Weaknesses:
I would prefer Zipp 404 wheels, but the Velomax's are fine.
