Summary:
I knew i wanted a tri bike but was very confused with all the different brands and models.i also wanted the most bang for my buck. i did some research calling various shops and of course surfing the web. i do not want to bore you with all the specs and details. you can go on the web sight and see for your self. the rennes goes for 2500 i was able to get it in october for 2000. i believe in this price range it is definately the best bike in this price range. i am not going to mention the other brands and models. it was a hard choice especially because lemond does not sponsor any individual athletes. therefore, you will probably not see many reviews, nor see it at the ironman. i have seen bikes with similiar specs, ultegra etc.. at the ironman or other races. the rennes had some other details these bikes did not have. i will let you see for your self. i will say that there web sight does mention the specs but there are some details that you need to see up close at a dealer.

Strengths:
carbon aero fork, some carbon in the rear for more comfort, aero brake levers, trip strip on fork, very clean wherever tubing connected as opposed to some of the other bikes i saw.

Weaknesses:
wish it were all carbon
