Strengths: Very responsive and comfortable. The downbars are high end. A great value also because it was a closeout.Weaknesses: Front derailer has been a little dicey but the bike store has been good at working on it to suit my style of riding.Bottom Line: Very fast, light and comfortable. The setup is flexible. Since the Lamond was dropped by Trek they still honor the bike under their warrantee. For the money an excellent value especially if your new to the sport.

Strengths: Lightweight, responsive, smooth, comfortable. The 53 cm fits my 5'8" body perfectly. The aero bars with the shift levers are great. I spend 90% of the time on the aero bars. Unlike other bikes, this one is very stable when using the aeros. For tight maneuvering, you can use the uprights where the brake levers are located.Weaknesses: Front deraileur-Shimano 105 is difficult to keep in adjustment, the guide bends easily and the shift lever loosens and needs to be re-tightened regularly.Bottom Line: The Lemond Lemoges is an excellent value. My first ride was a 153 mile St. Paul to Duluth in one day. I would not have been able to do this on another bike. It was reliable and comfortable and fast.
