Strength:

Cheap
Decent shifters

Weakness:

Kinda heavy (at least to a semi-hardcore roady).
Questionable durability of wheels

My wife wanted an inexpensive bike to tool around on.
I ride it as a change of pace from my Specialized Allez
The seating position is kinda nice. You sit up nice and erect, able to check out the scenery. Wont cause a sore back like getting started on a racing bike.
The grip shifts work well, although everything has this light duty dont-shift-while-hammering feel.
My sense is that the wheels will fall apart first under heavy riding. Thats not a bad thing - It allows the bike to be sold at a low price point, and they are easily replaced with good ones if you burn em out.
The seat is the one thing I would change - Its so squishy that you feel it squishing and swaying while you ride. I ride a gel saddle on my bike, so its not like I like leather covered rails.

Compared to a racing bike you use a LOT of energy to go a given speed/distance due to the very wide tires, upright seating and somewhat heavy weight.

All said though a good bike for the money - far better than the Huffys, etc. The frame is nice and the other stuff can be upgraded if you start doing a lot of riding.

Strength:

Cool upright position, nice look - sorta like the bikes of my childhood! Great pricing, decent shifting.

Weakness:

None at this price!

Just wanted a "going to get coffee bike" or something to haul groceries on. This is a great bike at the price, with lots of retro appeal for me. Not for any great distances (the road bike's for that) but definately a good knock-around set of wheels. Upright position nice when you're taking in the scenery versus burning up the trail.
