Strength:

Light, minimal flex, smooth ride, steel, looks great.

Weakness:

none.

This bike is sick. Very smooth, yet stiff when climbing. Right away I upgraded the cranks to Coda 900,Mavic Ksyrnium SSL Wheels, flight saddle and a bladed carbon post. All of this really made the bike come alive. Even when out of the saddle there is very little flex to this bike considering that its a steel bike. No flex in the wheels when standing and hammering no brake rub. Two thumbs up.

Strength:

Smooth ride Good gearing

Weakness:

Shifters stick when shifting. I'm the only one who seems to have this problem, but I had it with all Shimano shifters I tested.

Love the Bianchi Talladega. Had the smoothest ride of any bike I test-rode. Gearing is good for climbing (I need the help). Love the Celeste green, but I got rid of the green seat. That was a bit much. The seat was way too mushy anyway.

Strength:

At 6', 200 lbs, I'm among the heavier riders in my club. Yet this bike takes my weight, and the abuse of NY metro-aread roads, very well. Notably, i find I'm usually the fastest descending hills in any group -- faster than all the $4000 carbon-clad titanium rigs that my club buddies ride -- and the credit goes to these wheels. They're strong, fast and so far, fault free.

Weakness:

Only minor complaint is the aesthetics. I like the Bianchi green, but not the yellow fade and swoosh graphics. It's a little fey on a bike this good.

I'm a neophyte to road riding, but have taken it up with gusto. I put 2,000 miles on this bike in the first four months of the year and have been very happy with my stock Talladega.

I priced a Trek, a Cannondale, and a Specialized, all around $1400. This Bianchi offered far and away the best value -- Ultegra through and through. And the wheels are a steal.

Strength:

Handling, ride quality, stiffness in sprints.

Weakness:

Pedals, seat.

I have been pleased with the handling in the tight course around Reeds lake that I have to whip out on afterwork rides. The ride quality on longer rides is excellent, yet it doesn''t lack stiffness under heavy accellerations under my 210lb frame. I replaced the spd pedals with look and improved the hotspots.
