Strengths:    Adverts, Racing news

Weaknesses:    it's full of them

Bottom Line:
After reading every issue for the last 3 years I can say without doubt that MBUK is slipping rapidly towards the no-brainer side of journalism faster than a roadie on a wet DH track. The articles are poorly written and choc full of playground humour and photos of the same two gurning staff riders every month, the review photos are terrible, and the reviews are certainly biased.

I'm not too fussed about the lack of XC coverage, but more should be included just to make this an all-round mag. XC rider are more adventurous and hardcore these days, it's just that they don't go around bragging about it.

C'mon MBUK, it's getting pathetic now.

Strengths:    Its got lots of adverts in it, so I can buy cheaper stuff via mailorder.
Quality toilet paper (bit pricey though)
Good prop for any wobbly furniture
Good fly swatter
Good looking in the bin.

Weaknesses:    Childish reviews.
Repetitive pictures

Bottom Line:
MBUK, MBUK what is going on!!!!! It is a fact that in the last year the magazine quality has dropped to the level of an infant, maybe that is the market you're aiming at? Written quality is average but it is more the quantity that gets me. Its always pictures of pre pubesants doing fancy tricks, (except the martins, who are getting on now) which I am incabable of doing but have no desire of ever trying. Ever heard of just riding. Thank god MBR exists.
