Strengths:    Good writing; not above confronting hard issues in the cycling world. Good coverage of major and many minor events.

Weaknesses:    The cartoon. Worse than New Yorker cartoons - I don't get them, either.

Bottom Line:   
I can't break the VeloNews habit. As a pure roadie, articles on mtn biking and even 'cross are - well - not what I want. But VN does such a good job keeping you current on happenings all over the world from road to track to, yes, those two other forms of cycling mentioned above. So, twice a month I find myself making a detour to my LBS to see if the new issue is in yet. And I always buy it. Happy powder for the cycling addicted. . .
