- Be careful when using with metal frames.

A great, light seatpost which is a breeze to adjust. On both my wife's and my trek road bike this seatpost came stock. Mine lasted years with no problems. However, hers cracked after the second ride. I believe I may have clamped it down too hard with the aluminum frame. My bikes frame is carbon and I never had such as issue. I also clamp mine down much harder than hers.

Strength:

Nicely made, looks good, very intelligent and easily adjusted clamp design.

Weakness:

Nine so far.

I just got this post, and all I can say at this point is that it is a well made post with a very intelligent clamp design. The clamp offers infinite adjustability and the fixing bolt is easy to access (from the side of the post). Its a single large allen bolt that is not likely to strip. It is by far the easiest post to adjust I've ever tried. It has a look of quality, with a nicely polished aluminium head and clear-coated carbon fiber shaft. I can't comment on comfort, because the post is on a brand new bike- a very compliant Reynolds 853 frame and comfortable Gel Flow saddle- but the bike rides like a magic carpet compared to my old Cannondale. I only have 85 miles on it, but it has held my saddle securely so far, and I don't expect that to change.
