Mavic Stratos Shorts are made to bridge the fashion gap between lycra and full-on baggy clothing. In truth, they're just baggy enough to allow total freedom of movement, yet they're casual enough that you could ride all day and roll up to a streetside bar and sit down for margueritas and tacos without feeling out of place.There is no question that it's a technical garment designed for serious riding. The Stratos Shorts are made of a combo of their Trail Tech and Trail Tech ST fabrics for the right blend of abrasion resistance and stretch. They have bonded zippers for the pockets located on each thigh. The pockets are just big enough for essentials like keys, phone, and a few gels. Laser cut Micro Vents at the hips help manage moisture and keep the ride from getting too hot and sweaty.While these are just the shell shorts, we sell them as a set as well that includes the Mavic liner shorts. But feel free to wear them over your favorite shorts, bib shorts, or liners. The Mavic Stratos Shorts will give you a semi-loose fit, but they won't snag a saddle, bunch up, or sag off your butt during long out-of-the-saddle climbs. Velcro closures are used at each hip to fine tune the fit at the waist. They have a 14" inseam length and the side seam is 22". They're available in Black in sizes Small through XX-Large.
