Strength:

Verstility
Center bead for fast rolling
Quiet on pavement
Good wet and dry grip
not very heavy

Weakness:

If you stick to the surfaces for which this tire was designed I wouuld not say that they have any real obvious or pronounced shortcomings.

these are very good tires for certain types of riding. For cyclocross, fire roads, parks where you will go back and forth between paved roads and dirt trails, and converted railrod trails, these are great- - - just what is needed. In fact, their tire tread can handle both light grade single track and commuting, but they're not ideal for either of those uses.

They've got a rather aggressive inverted tread with a smooth and consistent center bead. They roll fast and quiet (for a multiuse tire), they shed mud and grime well, and they do a credible job gripping and cornering in dirt and wet conditions, and they seenm to be a relatively tough tire.

Similar Products Used:

Michelin Wildgripper - terrible cornering on any slightly loose surface. They are only really good for very mellow (paved)trails. They can't handle any dirt or grass well, and they are not the best option for roads. I would say they are best suited for urban riding where speed is not a concern.
