Summary:
Overall the unit works well. I have checked the altitude measurements against topo maps and the values are pretty consistently within 200 feet (often much closer). The temperature reading responds very slowly to air temperature changes. The total altitude gained feature has stopped working (after 7000 miles of use). It now says I have climbed several thousand more feet per each ride than I actually have.

Strengths:
Fairly good altitude measurement. The cumulative feet climbed is a fun feature.

Weaknesses:
I would like a memory of my home altitude so I don't have to reset it manually before each ride.

Summary:
Overall, I am very satisfied with this unit. If you have reasonable expectations about the accuracy of the altimeter it can be a useful tool to gauge difficulties of climbs and hilly rides. If you expect accuracy within a couple of percent you will be dissapointed with any pressure-based altimeter

Strengths:
all the standard cyclometer features
well-protected buttons
quality construction
accumulated altitude gain is the best feature

Weaknesses:
accuracy of altimeter probably >+-5%
