The Mity 8 has a new design and larger numbers. Dual trip distance helps keep track of intermediate or multi-day distances. Lightweight sensor wire for road use now has 77cm wire length. The universal handlebar mount will work with any size diameter bar, and the new speed sensor mounting will work with almost any size or shape fork.

Strengths:    Does everything it is suppose to do without problems.

Weaknesses:    It doesn't do as much as a more expensive computer (altitude, heart rate, etc.)

Bottom Line:

I've had this bike computer for over 2 years and 13,000 miles. It has always worked perfectly. I never changed the battery. For a basic bike computer, it can't be beat.

Strengths:    great functionality, good readability

Weaknesses:    horrible mount negates the positives of the computer

Bottom Line:

The computer works flawlessly and is easy to read, but the mount is worthless. The computer will not stay clipped into its socket and falls off easily when jarred by road bumps. Mine fell off without me noticing after about a year of use.
