Strengths: Very simple one-button operation. Contains the basic features for speed, distance, and clock. Cheap.Weaknesses: Lacks average speed and time.Bottom Line: Velo 5 is very simple. It displays speed, trip distance, total distance, and clock, and has a single-button operation. It works great, the speed's accurate, and it's cheap (forgot how much I bought mine, but it's probably around Php600-650 [US$13-15]). The usual price on the net is US$25.
It would he better if it had an average speed and time like the higher models. But if you are on a tight budget, this is good enough and will serve you well.

Strengths: Simple, inexpensive, works.Weaknesses: Wish it displayed average speed. Cateye's magnet doesn't grip the spoke as much as I want, but I guess it's enough.Bottom Line: Seems to do nothing wrong. Very basic and the speed matches my calculations. I haven't used this for so long, but I don't see what's stopping it from lasting.
It's not fancy, and easily caters for someone who wants to know the time, their speed, and their distance. For the price, there's nothing to say bad about it really.
