Strengths: Large bold dark readout easy to read in full sun, back light bright enough to easily see in pitch dark or city lit streets, cadence, very sturdy mount, easy twist on and off so you can put on a different bike, great looking.
Weaknesses: Button placement, a minor complaint not worth down rating a star, but you do have to mindful when pressing buttons that you don't hit a front and a rear button at the same time or you'll go into a program mode.
Bottom Line: I ride at night a lot so the first thing I wanted in a new computer was a back light, so at night this lights up really well and is very easy to read. The second thing I wanted was a cadence feature and again this computer filled that need. It also has a temperature readout which is nice but not really necessary. It's a wired unit which means you have to route the wiring which is slightly time consuming but the instructions tell you how. It will keep mileage record of up to two different tire sized bikes or two different bikes the same size tires, or if used on same size tires on several bikes it will just add the mileage to one of the two bike choices you want it to-I do this since I use it on several bikes.
There are pros and cons to wire and wireless computers. Wireless computers look neater because they don't have wires, but their more expensive, and their not as reliable (I went through 2 wireless computers in 5 years), their heavier, and they use 2 batteries one in the sensor and one in the computer - the sensor battery only last about 6 to 8 months. With a wired computer you only use 1 battery in the computer which lasts at least 5 years, not sure how the back light will effect that.
Down pouring rain has had no effect on the computer whatsoever.
Favorite Ride: Any where the wind blows.

Similar Products Used: Paramount wired that lasted 20 years; Cateye Wireless 2 lasted 3 years with a sending unit replacement after 21 months; VDO can't recall the model of wireless but it lasted 2 years.
Bike Setup: I bought several extra mounts so I switch the computer between 3 bikes, it only keeps track of 2 different bikes mileages but I don't care if it adds from other bikes.

Strengths: Big display, sleek design, well built, decent price.Weaknesses: nada.Bottom Line: This is a great little computer. I have it on my vintage bike, and I am thinking about getting the wireless on my racing bike. The numbers are big, the backlit screen is freaking awesome, and it has all the functions. It was easy to install and the twist lock makes it a breeze to pop off the bike when you lock it up. I highly recommend.
