Summary:
It's a good computer!!
The only weakness is the lockup, it happens after c. 32 miles or so, and ypu can fix it by holding the bottom button and then press the right button (re-select the wheelsize).
One time I had a lockup that could'nt be fixed this way (it won't even wake up by wheel rotation), so I used the AC button on the back. Then it worked fine.

The other, BIG problem of my one is that the buttons simply don't function. First, the right part of the bottom button (yes, they're separated into 2 parts) stopped workung, then the lower part of the right one. And the other ones already start losing their function too... I must press them VERY hard.

But all in all a pretty good computer with a nice layout!.

Strengths:
- Temperature
- Big, well-layouted display

Weaknesses:
- occasional lockup
- after 3 years buttons will not function.

Price Paid:  $45.00 at bikes usa

Favorite Ride:
any long ride

Bike Setup:
not relevant. I have a cyclocross bike.

Summary:
I saw a lot of negative energy here, so I wanted to post a positive review. I love this computer! I love the big display and the fact that so much info is visible at one time. I really love the temperature function which is almost impossible to find elsewhere. I love that the temperature and time are always displayed, and that you don't have to hit some crazy combo of buttons to get the information. I love the really big buttons themselves
Resettable odometer is nice feature (of course I would never enter erroneous info on my odometer!).
I have used this computer for over three years, logged thousands of miles on it, and have never had a big problem. At one point, after a period of not using it, the mount stopped working. Called trek and had a new full mounting bracket including magnet in less than a week for FREE. Great customer service. The only downside is that, I agree, the mount bracket itself is rather flimsy plastic.
Put it this way, a while back I looked around for a new trek radar just to see if they improved the model, and I thought I discovered that trek no longer makes them. This made me very sad becasue I imagined a day when my computer may die a natural, old age, sort of death and I might have to buy some other second rate computer. I was VERY SAD. Then I went for a ride

Strengths:
really big buttons
love the temperature
temp and time are always displayed
big display
great customer service

Weaknesses:
no cadence\
flimsy mount

have used two different cateye models, both of which died very early. Would never buy that brand again.
