The A1 was designed for the beginning exerciser new to heart rate based workouts. One button operation and bold numbers make it easy to use during any exercise. Tracks heart rate and exercise time continuously. Provides your average heart rate at the end of your workout so you can track fitness improvements.

Strengths:    I have a pacemaker/defib this has been approved by the manufacture at St. Jude Medical so it does not interfere with the inplantable cardioverter defibrillators function. I am no longer afraid of my defib going off because I exercised too much!

Weaknesses:    It is plain- but so it does not interfere I need3ed it plain

Bottom Line:   
Great for people with pace makers and defibs
