Strengths:    Gives necessary information, heart rate, cadence, speed, distance, etc. Works under almost all conditions. Company was great to deal with when I had questions dealing with setting sensors up on aero frame bike

Weaknesses:    Occasionally will lose HR when under high tension lines. Not a big deal it comes back seconds later

Bottom Line:
Great product, have at absolutely no problem with the heart rate monitor. Occasionally will lose HR reading if under high tension lines but it comes right back. Have used both in training and racing triathalons without fault.

Strengths:    A lot of recoring time.
Records also speed, cadense and height.
High quality.
Most functions are relatively easily to use.

Weaknesses:    Sometimes there is some interferance with radiographus aparatus along the route, so you need to correct the wrong values.
Expensive.
Some things are difficult to find out, such as:
- km/hr or mile/hr are set by choosing the 24 or 12 hour clock
- after changing the battery everthing works except the clock ->you have to reset the watch first, with the reset all your settings are wipe out.
Not using the speed, cadense and height measurement does not give you extra recording time (probably a marketing strategy of Polar).
Temperature is not measured/recorded.
Software is not supproted anymore, although it is not working perfect yet.

Bottom Line:
A good apparatus, with special cycling functions. Although speed, cadense and height can be measured the main function is the heart rate, one might ask oneself whether all the extra functions are needed since they give not much extra training info.
