at firstendurance.com Favorite Ride: Anything with a number pinned on Bike Setup: 2009 Specialized S-work Tarmac SL2 Saxo Bank Team Edition; SRAM Red; Edge Carbon Clinchers Summary: If you are truly training hard, Optygen HP is an amazing product. The ability to push yourself harder for longer has been the primary reward I have seen from the HP version- it is my secret weapon for riding with the college kids. It won't make you fast if you are not training hard; but it will allow you to train harder and longer, which will make you fast. Strengths: It works. Not based on voodoo. They publish the studies they are using. And critically, they go above and beyond to ensure their supplements are not tainted. As a believer in clean racing this is very important to me. Weaknesses: Opytgen HP isn't cheap. And it doesn't work like a light switch- you need to follow the directions. Similar Products Used: Regular Opytgen.

at First Endurance Favorite Ride: Any Summary: Works well, but I felt the difference over the original Optygen weren't noticable. Maybe if I was a pro tour rider it would. Will stick with the original formula to save $$$. Strengths: Definitely improves performance after a couple of weeks. Weaknesses: Have to keep taking and kind of expense.
