Weaknesses: nasty taste, too hard to chew and swallow.Bottom Line: How this product remains on the market is a true mystery. Each type tastes like cardboard with a hint of additional flavoring. There are much better options out there. PowerBar may have been th efirst but that's all they can claim abou this bar.

Strengths: New improved taste. Softer than before so it does not rip out my fillings. Good source of energy.Weaknesses: When it is too hot they melt and when it is too cold they freeze. Just your basic laws of chemistry that affect everything else.Bottom Line: Powerbar has really come a long way in improving the taste and texture of their products. My favorite is the peanut butter. Not only does it taste delicious it also gives me loads of energy.

Bike Setup: Trek 7000 with back rack for back country camping trips.
