Last year I borrowed a couple of different trainers from friends including the KK Road Machine & C-Ops Fluid 2. I thought I would end up with the KK this coming winter but an untimely crash put me in a cast and necessitated the purchase of a trainer earlier than I had thought. I tried out this new Blackburn fluid trainer and decided that for more than $100 less than the Road Machine this one would do fine. I have put about 15 hours on this trainer over the past month and can't say enough about how smooth and quiet it is. I can definitely say that you don't get more for the money buying more expensive trainers, it is mostly hype and marketing. This unit comes fully assembled and ready to ride which is another plus compared to some others. It also collapses easily for storage. I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a high quality trainer at a reasonable price. Strengths:
