Strengths:    Cheap, strong, light, spin forever.

Weaknesses:    None after 2K miles

Bottom Line:
Got a new set of bombproof road wheels made up after obliterating a pair of ksyrium elites. At 100kg+ I decided to go for a set of handbuilt wheels as after I snapped a spoke on my ksyrium elites it was very hard to get the wheel right again and only led to more problems. The idea with the handbuilts was the ease of changing parts. Not to worry though.
My LBS suggest the hope hubs with DT's laced to cxp33's. I love these wheels. They area similar weight to the mavics and spin just as well if not better. I recently built a new bike and have put Chris king r45's on it. They are still awaiting their first 10hr service but side by side in my garage the hope pro iii's are spinning twice as long for half the price.
