Strengths: Well constructed.
Easy to dismantle & lube.
Durable.
Free rolling.Weaknesses: NoneBottom Line: I fitted this hub to replace the original Alex hub which got very rough at about 4 000 miles.
I've now done about 5 000 miles on the shimano hub with no problems. I've just stripped, cleaned and relubed it. The bearings are perfect inside - no signs of wear or corrosion. Its a beautifully made bit of kit!
It rolls as smoothly now as when I bought it.
Favorite Ride: Any ride out of the wind!
