Strengths: Well made
Smooth & friction free
light
It does what it says in the box!Weaknesses: A bit pricyBottom Line: Bought this hub to replace the Alex hub which got very rough after about 7 000 miles. I chose the Shimano hub because of excellent experience with the equivalent rear hub over the past 2 years & 5 000 miles.
I've now done about 1 000 miles and it's great, beautifully smooth running & friction free. as a bonus it's lighter than the Alex hub (though not as light as my Bontrager race wheels).
Favorite Ride: Any ride out of the wind
